She's here!

I'm glad I thought ahead to plant those pansies, because our daughter arrived two weeks early!

We are resting at home and doing well. Both sets of grandparents have been taking shifts visiting, and they are taking good care of us. So I finally got to enjoy some time outside and online today :)

Welcome to your new little girl, Nelumbo, and best wishes to all of you on your new adventure! How cool that you have the grandparents there to add to the love.

Did you name your daughter Pansy after your recent garden additions? That was Margaret Mitchell's first idea for her Southern gal Scarlet O'Hara:)

Congratulations on the birth of your precious baby daughter. I wish you both good health, and all of your family the joy of nurturing this new little girl as you set out on the most exciting stage of your life.

Congratulations to you and yours! And you know, we make an exception to the usual blogging rules about staying on topic when it comes to blogger babies, especially for PHOTOS. Hint.
